Protect Your Heart, Protect Your Future

Your heart health is one of the most important investments you can make. At Trident Heart Centre, we offer comprehensive heart screening packages in Singapore designed to detect potential issues early — before they become serious. Whether you’re experiencing symptoms or simply taking a proactive step, our screenings give you peace of mind and the knowledge to care for your heart.

What Is a Heart Screening and Why Is It Important?

A heart screening is a series of tests that check how well your heart is working. It helps identify risk factors such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, or early signs of heart disease. Many heart conditions don’t cause obvious symptoms until they become serious — which is why regular screenings are vital.

By choosing a heart screening package, you’re taking an important step in protecting your long-term health and wellbeing.

Our tests have personally been curated by our senior consultant cardiologist Dr Pinakin and all results will be explained in depth by him, with patients directly benefitting from his specialist experience.

What To Expect During the Heart Screening

Bring any previous medical records. During the consultation, Dr. Pinakin reviews your history, medications, and performs a physical exam.

You may need to fast for 8–10 hours. Blood is drawn from your arm; the process is quick and minimally uncomfortable.

Collect samples in provided containers. The samples are submitted to the lab for analysis.

No special preparation needed. Electrodes are placed on your chest, arms, and legs while you lie still for a few minutes.

Wear comfortable clothes and shoes; avoid heavy meals and caffeine. You will walk/run on a treadmill while your heart rhythm and blood pressure are monitored.

A gel is applied to your chest and an ultrasound probe moves over your chest to capture images of your heart. The procedure is painless.

Avoid caffeine and certain medications; remove metal objects. You lie still in the scanner while images are captured; contrast dye may be injected.

Dr. Pinakin will review all results, explain your risk, and provide personalised recommendations and a medical report.

Is a Heart Screening Right for You?

You don’t have to wait until symptoms appear. A screening is recommended if you:

  • Have a family history of heart disease
  • Live with conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, or high cholesterol
  • Experience chest discomfort, breathlessness, or irregular heartbeats
  • Are above 40 or live a high-stress lifestyle

Taking action now with a heart screening in Singapore can help you prevent serious complications later.
